Elon Musk: A Prodigy Of Greatness

Elon Musk who is known as the second entrepreneur of Silicon Valley is also the CEO of SpaceX, Tesla Motors and PayPal. He is determined towards innovation of new and sustainable technologies and aeronautics. Known for his hard work, Elon works for 80 to 100 hours per week.

Born in South Africa on June 28, 1971 Elon Musk was a passionate individual who loved programming and sold his first computer game, Blastar for $500. At the age of 17, without his parent’s consent he moved to Canada, where he studied and worked on low payed jobs and in 1992 he received scholarship from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States.

He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Economics from Wharton and was determined to achieve greatness. ” When i was in college, i wanted to be involved in things that would change the world.”

In 1995, after sheer hard work and in collaboration with his brother Kimbal Musk, he founded the company Zip2 and in 1999, he sold the company for $307 million to AltaVista. In 2001 he co-founded the electronic payment firm PayPal. In 2003, Tesla Motors was founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, and Elon Musk became a major share holder in 2004, and introduced revolutionary ideas regarding green technology.

In the month of March, 2006 Elon Musk invested more than $100 million into SpaceX and focused on colonizing other planets such as Mars, in contrast to space exploration. The work of Elon Musk has genuinely inspired millions of people across the globe, and he focuses on continuing with next level innovation.
